As I write this the second "bunch" of astronauts are preparing to embark the SpaceX capsule called Dragon that brought them to the International Space Station. There are now 4 countries represented in the ISS and lots of science experiments yet to be performed.
I'm watching it live on my iPhone as I walk around the house, prepare my moring cup of cafe con leche and writing this blog. Who knew I would be watching humans in space on a small handheld device walking around my house.
Last Saturday I went sailing with my friends David Berger and Guy deBoer (pictured).
If the name Guy deBoer is unfamiliar to you, mark it well as he will be world famous at the end of next year when he (and his boat Spirit) will be the first American solo sailor to win the around the World Golden Globe Race which starts in France.
It seems like a blog that must be written at least once a year. Baseball caps.I put on my Mets hat and walked out the door of our small hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. As I embarked on our morning walk, I wondered whether my hat would garner attention or comment in the land of the Mets National League rivals - the Nationals.
Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy lunch with two Irishmen at a lovely outdoor cafe in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. When the hostess asked if we wanted shade or sun for our outdoor dining experience, it was thrice clear, that shade should've been the obvious choice. However, we chose the sun. Fair skinned and all.

After Hurricane Sandy, the entire lower level of our home was destroyed. During the rebuilding of our home I gave my husband a gift. I told him he could have the downstairs den as a “man-cave.” He opted to turn it into a home movie theater with ten theater seats and a large screen television.
It's not often I do but I'm trying to do it more....treat myself exquisitely. I certainly deserve...don't we all?
Others may say it's selfish and to those people pleasers out there I know it might feel that way (i get it:) BUT we all need to pay attention to us first before we can help others.
