On Saturday, my husband and I celebrated our sixteenth wedding anniversary. I cannot believe how quickly the years have flown.
The occasion caused me to reflect on how we have been able to stay happily married for such a long period. As someone whose first marriage ended in divorce after seven years, sixteen years is quite the accomplishment.
I gave an upbeat presentation at Gotham NY Legal last week. I offered an analysis that got “confirmed” yesterday. As I periodically reviewed updates, I mused about music that might fit. Folks who follow this blog know I created topical playlists.
Authorities in Indiana said an overturned semi truck spilled cases of beer across the lanes of of U.S. 50 in Dearborn County.
Thankfully no one was hurt but it seems that within 2 hours, the beer was gone.
I'm a first born and I never had a big brother. I suppose that's good and bad. In any case, I have negotiated and survived the ups and downs of life fairly well.
Little did I know that for quite a while I have had a Big Brother tagging along and watching over me!
Since who knows when, I have noticed unsolicited messages pop up on my iPhone screen, eg, "9 minutes to (my address)" or "15 minutes to the West End Cafe", where I intended to go.
It's time for another T-Shirt Blog.....

2020 is proving to be an unexpected, historical year. We, as a country, as a people, and as a society, have been through what I describe, as SERIOUS turbulence.
I know that Corey blogged about this topic on Sunday – but I just cannot think of anything else to blog about today that makes any sense and would not seem completely superfluous. I suppose you can consider this a theme.
This past Saturday Mitch posted about Halloween. He had mentioned that he had not yet bought candy. Given the current circumstances, I can understand why he waited. As a candy lover, however, I always am very well stocked several weeks before Halloween. This year was no exception.
