Team Lead - Generator Health

Born and raised in the greater Atlanta area, I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2022 before heading abroad to the University of Haifa, where I earned my Master of Public Health in August 2023. A few months later, I moved to New York City, where I’ve been ever since.

My interest in public health began in Athens, Georgia, when I joined the nonprofit Culinary Kitchen of Athens (CKA). Working there opened my eyes to the complexity of food insecurity and the broader social determinants that shape health. I started primarily as a grant writer, but quickly found myself involved in everything from program development to community outreach. The experience completely changed the direction of my career.

I brought that passion with me to New York, where I worked at a charter school in Harlem, designing and implementing an after-school program focused on nutrition, physical activity, and lifelong healthy habits. Today, I work in operations at Forus, an AI-powered health tech startup, where I co-lead the Patient Experience team within its subsidiary, Generator Health.

Outside of my day job, I spend my nights helping Dr. Robert Lustig manage his media platforms. An endocrinologist, author, and speaker specializing in metabolic health, Dr. Lustig has given me the opportunity to continue exploring the intersection of nutrition, health, and public education.

Interests

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me doing something film-related; I love spending weekends at film festivals going on in the city. I've also been president of a Zoom movie club for over three years.

The gym is another happy place of mine. More recently, I've been playing soccer a few times a month, too.

Outside of that, you can find me walking around downtown Manhattan, asking people if I can pet their dog.
