Green, Gotham Green, Gotham Green Awards, Earth Day, Sutainable

Gotham City Networking, Inc.®’s co-founder calls our Gotham Green® group, The Change The World Group. Easy to adopt that description. I often talk about the need to make a difference and as this month began – literally – on December 1, 2016, Gotham Green® announced the recipients of our Gotham Green Awards®. I kept thinking about a song that one finds closing the first side of the double LP, 4 Way Street (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young); it features the chorus, We can change the world, rearrange the world; it’s dying...to get better.

Those sentiments certainly fit the winners who we will present with Gotham Green Awards® next April at a lunch at the Friars Club in the same month we observe Earth Day.

Gotham Green Awards® recognize three categories: (1) Green Business or Green Initiative; (2) Green product, program or building; or (3) Green/Sustainable non-profit organization.

Please join me in congratulating these winners:

Joshua Zinder Architecture + Design (JZA+D)

Metropolitan Building Consulting Group PLLC

Cox Printers

Morningside Heights Housing Corporation

Earth Friendly Products

Queens Chamber of Commerce – Energy Committee

Learn more about them in here.

If you want to attend the Gotham Green Awards®, please make your reservations at the Gotham website and email Gotham Green® Group Coordinator Sherry Rivera for further information.

(And thank you to my friend Marilyn. Our chat Thursday certainly inspired linking some songs in today’s commentary.)
